Sourced from their high altitude single vineyard in NSW’s Tumbarumba wine region. Cold soaked pre-ferment. Small batches were fermented seperately then carefully blended before seamlessy integrating in barrel over a few months. Beautifully fragrant with lifted red fruits, strawberry and floral aromas and earthy undertones. A seductive palate opens with pure red cherry and strawberry fruit flavours, following on to darker secondary characters of game and cured meats. The texture is pure Pinot; refined, polished and silky.

    An honest Pinot Noir

    This is one of the best Pinot Noirs I have tasted in years. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the wine, which is delicious just to sip, or quaff, on its own, or with any Asian or meat dish. I am just starting my second case.

    A Good Pinot Noir. Good value from a less well known wine area

    We bought a bottle of the Lock and Key Pinot Noir recntly prompted by a curiosity about the Tumbarumba wine area and a keen price in a suburban wine shop. Searching on-line we were delighted to find that Our Cellar had some of this wine and at an even better price including delivery. We bought 6. We will search the Our Cellar site more often after this

    An honest and delicious pinot noir

    Ordered a case of this excellent pinot noir (one of my favourite reds). I have consumed one bottle, and it lives up to my (high) expectations, and at $15.99 is very good value.
