Macaw Creek Wines is a boutique winery situated in the Gilbert Valley (part of the Mount Lofty Ranges region) between the Clare and Barossa Valleys in South Australia. Rod Hooper and his partner Em have a passion for producing handcrafted organic wines. Their philosophy is simple and starts in the vineyard – with a focus on growing high quality grapes in an organic environment, producing outstanding wines that truly reflect the variety and region.
Descendants of Arthur Organic Chardonnay is an elegant Organic Chardonnay (certified by SXC) with attractive stone-fruit and grapefruit aromas and flavours with integrated vanillin oak. The palate has a creamy texture with peach fruit flavours and vanilla bean oak and crisp clean acidity.
