Vintage 2023

Petersons Hunter Valley Semillon is a classic example of Australian Semillon.

The 2023 vintage has produced an exceptional wine with perfect growing conditions producing one of the best. The wine has a very light straw colour with a faint green hue. The aromas are flinty with fine zesty lemon, lime, mandarin and a hint of freshly cut grass. The palate is tight, fresh, rounded, soft and dry. Upfront fruit of lemons and grapefruit pith with hints of honeysuckle supported by a cleansing yet soft natural acidity.

    Lovely Semillon

    I like dry wines and this hunter Semillon is lovely, nice citrus and honey balanced with a nice dry finish.
