Super value here 92 Points. Mid-ruby with aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant fruits cut with gingery spice, pressed purple flowers, dried orange rind, exotic spice and earth. Deep in colour with a bright garnet hue. This fruit dominant wine opens with lively cherry, raspberry and red forest fruits layered over floral rose notes. Time in the glass reveals intriguing aromas of Mediterranean herbs, nettle and anise. Medium-bodied and juicy with superb balance between fruit and spice offering freshness and softness with an underlying power supported by mouth-coating tannins.

    Yalumba Samuel’s Collection Barossa Bush Vine Grenache 2021 – $20 at Our Cellar. Pitch perfect Grenache here, at a bargain price. More colour and flavour than usual, richer and riper, soft and seductive, plums and red berries. Gorgeous! 95 points. BUY lots.
