Yalumba Y Series Tempranillo 2021
Excellent medium bodied red wine. Has a lot of the characters we are looking for in a Shiraz/Cabernet alternative. Round dark cherry fruit, touch of tar and astringency, medium body, good flavour and softer finish. Problem is that the wine is just a tad alcoholic for the style at 14% (and probably plus). Keep the flavour but a 14.5% wine is too high for this style.
