"Gosh, this is such a good wine. It was a super vintage in Heathcote, and you can see it immediately on the nose with further highlights on the palate. This is not a massively opulent style of wine, but it has tremendous concentration of fruit delivered with such poise and elegance, spicy, savoury dark fruits, a little chocolate, plenty of those plummy riches. And finished with incredible polish with the use of 500-liter French oak puncheons. It seems the 20% whole bunch inclusions have certainly brought that palate into focus. An exceptional wine." (97 points) - Ray Jordoan, Wine Pilot
"This is rich in fruit flavour, well structured, fresh and bright. It’s Heathcote shiraz in very good form. It offers deep cherry-plum flavour, inflections of peppercorn, mint and violets, and a meaty/smoky aspect to the aftertaste. Everything, throughout, feels satisfying and well pitched. Tannin is grapey, fine, and in synch with the overall plush feel of the wine." (93 points) - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
"Deep, bright, youthful colour; ripe blackberry aroma, with some brown spice aromas adding extra interest. The palate is medium-full with drying earthy tannins that balance the generous fruit on the finish. A solid shiraz that would reward some cellaring." (93 points) - Huon Hooke, The Real Review
