Lifted vibrant red fruits, with underlying notes of liquorice, cinnamon and and hint of smokey oak. Generous, velvety layers of red and black fruits, hints of savoury spice and gentle tannins finishing very long and pure.

96 Points. Deep crimson. Lovely dark plum. Blackberry, mocha aromas with lifted liquorice notes. A well-balanced wine with deep set blackberry, dark plum, dark chocolate fruits, fine cedary, gravelly tannins and integrated walnutty, sandalwood notes. Chocolaty finish. Now – 2032. 95 Points. John Duval launched this excellent label after he left as senior winemaker for Penfolds and Grange 20 or so years ago. It’s a wonderful example of refined Barossa and this blend captures all the generosity, complexity and richness that is Barossa, but with a polish and refinement that is a result of classy winemaking.
