Vines from 30 to 50 years old with limestone soils and some clay. At the foot of the “black montain” with 300-400m of altitude. Night harvested to preserve the delicate red fruit aromas. Cold and rainy winter, Spring rather cold and humid with some mildew issues. Hot and dry summer which allowed to have great maturity while keeping some freshness. "Light salmon colour. Subtle aromas of fresh red fruit such as raspberry, strawberry, plum, redcurrant with some grapefruit. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium alcohol, light body, medium flavours intensity of elegant and fresh red fruit such as strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant and some grapefruit. Finish is long"

    This is a fantastic rose, easy on the palate, and I would describe as well balanced. Great value too. It’s going to be my go-to for summer drinks with friends, so I’ve ordered another case. Also if you want to dilute the alcohol without diluting the taste, add a dash of soda water and some pomegranate seeds (get them from freezer dept at your supermarket). A real find, enjoy!!
