When William Magner set out to make Ireland’s greatest cider in 1935, this is what he came up with. We’ve barely changed it since then, but why would we? Made with 17 different varieties of fallen apples, pressed and then kept in the dark to mature for a couple of years, it is the crispest, most refreshing way to celebrate any moment.
Tasting notes: Well rounded taste with balanced acidity and sweetness. Has a delicate but deep fruity flavour derived from fresh ripe apples with hints of oak and spicy vine fruits.

Magnets cider is my absolute favourite. Reasonably light (4.5%) and tastes wonderful when fully chilled and served on ice. Tastes like fresh apples.Alexander McGillivray

Magners original Irish Cider
Holidaying in Sydney, we were strolling through The Rocks and came across what seemed to be a popping little Irish pub. Hot and dry, we decided to take a load off and have a cold drink. Special of the day was Magners Original Irish Cider. Being spirits and beer drinkers we thought "why not try something different". 10/10 just delicious. Although the pointy end of the price range for ciders, it can be often sourced on sales from OurCellar regularly at a special price.Gary
