One of ourcellar's favourite Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs.
It's fruit driven with a generous lashing of flavours with a typical acidity giving a fresh, clean and passionfruit finish. Distinctly Marlborough from the nose to the herbaceous tropical palate of guava and ripe melon characters. It's fresh and zingy with a splash of lemon tang on the palate hitting the mark.
Matua, Sauvignon Blanc is pretty special. Matua was the first winery to produce a Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough in 1974 and the rest, as they say, is history. Now, Marlborough Savvy is world famous for its unique, fresh flavours. For this wine, Matua selected grapes from across Marlborough, giving you the best crisp and tropical flavours Marlborough has to offer and we think this is a great wine for the price.
