Each year since 1984 Midleton release a Very Rare special vintage Whiskey created by the Master Distiller, using their eye for detail, passion for quality whiskey and exemplary skill to create the pinnacle of Irish whiskey.
The legacy of Midleton Very Rare began more than four decades ago, fuelled by the desire of the distillery’s then Master Distiller to create outstanding expressions. Each subsequent Master also began setting aside small quantities of exceptionally performing whiskey to allow for a new luxury offering in the world of Irish whiskey for years to come. Today, Midleton Very Rare marks 40 years since the release of its first vintage whiskey, and delights with decadent flavours and a tantalising taste. The aroma, taste and finish of this whiskey will enliven the palates of those new to this collection while taking the seasoned whiskey collector on a journey through an exciting exploration of taste
