Vintage 2018

Mogul Rare Diamond is a blend of 67% Shiraz and 33% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Lower Murray, Langhorne Creek & Wrattonbully areas of South Australia.

Rich ruby red in colour, this is a silky smooth blend with subtle tannins, earthy aromas and juicy flavours of dark berries. Vanilla and chocolate notes coupled with hints of blackberries and spice on the palate.

"A splendid blend of shiraz and cabernet, the inviting bouquet shows dark plum, spiced cherry, smoked game, thyme and hazelnut characters.     A very good wine at great value. Worth buying. Drinking very well now but I think it still has 3-4 years to peak.

    The label suggests this wine was destined for the Chinese market. It has traditional corks and looks classy. It is a delicious wine as the 93 rating suggested it might be.

    This is a steal at what works out to be less than $9/bottle. Drinks like a wine twice the price. I bought a case and then two more once I realised how good it was. At that price I’d say it can’t be beaten.

    Such a great every day drinking wine. Plenty of depth of flavour and such a smooth wine. Lucky us for the order being cancelled. Do yourself a favour - try this wine! Great value for money.
