Mogul Rare Diamond is a blend of 67% Shiraz, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Lower Murray, Langhorne Creek & Wrattonbully areas of South Australia.
Vintage 2018
Tasting Note: Rich ruby red. A stunning blend with subtle tannins, that is silky and smooth, with earthy aromas and bursting flavours of dark, juicy berry fruit. Vanilla and chocolate notes coupled with hints of blackberries and spice last on the palate.
93 Points 5 Star Rated - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit 2020 "A splendid blend of shiraz and cabernet, the inviting bouquet shows dark plum, spiced cherry, smoked game, thyme and hazelnut characters. Best value for money red I’ve had in recent memory
This is a steal at what works out to be less than $9/bottle. Drinks like a wine twice the price.

Diamond ( not in the rough )

Smooth SA Red Blend
Very smooth 2018 SA red blend, goes down very well, no sharp alcohol pinch, more like a merlot despite the blend. Great with a steak or tomato based pasta sauce. Do not believe it to be award winning, just a modest palatable wine. May have good cellaring potential. Werner Nicolau on 5th Jul 2021

Big boss
The Mogul red is delicious, rich texture, velvety smooth and full of flavour.
It would go with any substantial dish and also with flavoursome cheese.
