Vintage 2019
“Succulent vibrant nectarine introduces the wine, this then leads into a textured rock melon influenced mid palate and a ripe phenolic driven finish, this along with the natural acidity helps balances the wines offdry style" Matt Dicey, Winemaker
Dish Magazine Review: "The one word that kept cropping up among the judges was ‘precision’. This ultra-clean, ultra-floral style oozes ripe pear, strudel spices, nashi and white peach characters. ‘Gorgeous precision and definition, with lovely white florals and layers of flavour,’ noted Yvonne, while Cameron was wowed by its ‘delicate fruit entry, purity, freshness and nicely textured, solid finish’. This Central Otago stunner boasts subtlety, elegance, and deliciously refreshing presence. Superb."

This my favourite Pinot Gris in the price range that I usually shop in. Sandy Gough on 11th Feb 2021
This is a full bodied, ripe pinot gris with a good mouth feel and a decent finish. My favourite tipple! Dee Swinchatt on 28th Jan 2021
We find this Pinot Gris to be a well balanced & highly desirable alternative to our other summer favourites, mostly Marlborough Sav Blanc John Whiteford on 30th Dec 2020
Love this wine, more complexity than your normal Pinot Gris. And this is the best price you’ll find anywhere! Toni on 7th Dec 2020
We absolutely loved this wine and more especially the price. The service was great. Will buy again. Dee Swinchatt on 30th Sep 2020
We had tried Roaring Meg previously and became reacquainted in Queenstown recently. A lovely crisp Pinot Gris from a great NZ wine region well worth trying. One of our favourite white wines! Geoff Jones on 3rd May 2020
I drink a lot of this for a red drinker. Its an easy to drink refreshing Pinot Gris. Crisp and with good fruit. Mark Copperwaite on 30th Dec 2019
Perfect summer wine and suites any style of cuisine. We first tried this at our local where it is actually on tap. Very nice surprise. Since then we’ve purchased a couple of dozen and every drop has been as good as the first. Well priced for the quality. Jen Griffin on 25th Dec 2019
This wine displays delicious ripe aromatics showcasing yellow fleshed stonefruit with a complexing white floral note......
Well, that’s the marketing blurb.....
The reality is that this wine goes so well with anything spicy (tones it down); but also goes with anything bland (becomes the main event).
Has some body with it’s fruity and aromatic overtures (my words) and we first tasted this drop over some Lebanese cuisine, but find it complements Asian or Seafood dishes with ease.
Highly recommended for every occasion.....

if your looking for a great tasting wine from Central Otago, you can't go past Mt DifficultyRoaring Meg Pinot Gris. So easy on the pallet and just as good as the Roaring Meg Sauv Blanc. Steve Rose on 3rd Jun 2019
