Vintage 2021
Summary: One Good Turn are Climate Positive wines. Fruit has been sourced from vineyards choosing to use sustainable practices to achieve great quality while thinking about the environmental impact of modern agriculture and how it can best be harnessed to ensure we continue to give back to the planet. As the saying goes “One Good Turn” deserves another and so for every bottle purchased we will contribute to Carbon Click – a climate positive organisation that donates to worthy environmental causes that are close to our heart.
Vineyards: Sourced from sustainable vineyards from around Australia.
Winemaking: Picked partially by hand. The majority of the blend was vinified in stainless steel with high solids and oxidative handling with fifteen barrel fermented with lees stirring. About forty percent was aged in medium toast two and three year old French oak barriques for six months to add complexity before full malolactic fermentation.
Tasting not: A bold and bright Chardonnay that exhibits varietal flavours of stonefruit and white peach with a vanilla oak influence. Generously flavoured palate with stonefruit and creamy oak driving through a long finish. Pair with Roast chicken.
