Vibrant youthful red hues of good depth. Ripe berry fruits with chocolate mint characters typical of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. Good concentration of ripe sweet berry fruits with impressive mid palate fleshiness. Soft round palate profile with ripe tannin at finish.

    Pitchfork Margaret River Cabernet Merlot 2016 – $12 at Our Cellar. More of the same, only more so. It’s right on the mark for Margaret River Cab Merlot, with berry fruit and hints of mint, a twist of olive and a pinch of dust. The finesse and polish of the wine are a real surprise at this price point. 93 points. Back up the ute. Kim Brebach 'Best Wines Under $20'
