From Valencia DO which is an appellation situated on Spain’s eastern (Iberian) coast. It's a region world famous for oranges and Paella, but is also the home of Radio Boka wines. Their red is made solely from Spain’s noble red grape, Tempranillo, sourced from 25-50 year old vines.
The combination of altitude and the warm Mediterranean climate gives this value-packed wine flavours of strawberry, blackberry and violets, with dusty vanillin oak and soft, fine tannins. Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright dark purple hue. Lifted ripe black cherry and liqourice scents overlay subtle incense, earth and spice notes. Medium weight the palate has a soft fleshy mouthfeel dishing up juicy black cherry and liquorice flavours over some lightly scorched earth and spice. Velvet smooth tannins concluding with a savoury aftertaste of juicy black cherries, liquorice, subtle scorched earth and spice. Drink over the next 2-3 years.
OurCellar Comment: Really like this red. It's soft, fleshy with great depth of flavour. A textbook example of good Spanish Tempranillo

Radio Boka Temprenillo is a delicious red. Lots of fruit and very smooth a perfect all rounder. If you are looking for a smooth red with delicate fruit and no spice notes definitely try this, you won't be disappointed.Di Yates

Radio boka- Tempranillo
What a beautiful drop. I was after a sparkling wine that I can only get through ‘our cellars’ and found ‘radio boka’ and thought I’d give it a try.
Well how delicious, smooth with maybe a berry undertone. I opened a bottle with girlfriends and they were delighted with it, so much so that they ordered their own. Lovely drop.Shelly scarpino

Easy drinking red
Easy drinking Spanish red Tempranillo wine that is full of fruit without being too dry, as they generally are not aged in oak.David S

This is by far one of my favourite reds.
I first tried Tempranillo in Spain but it was quite a few years later that I discovered it here in Aus in a cute little bar locally.
It has beautiful colour and a very smooth but full flavour taste. Goes down beautifully. It features prominently in my bar and I have introduced Radio Boka to many of my good friends.Noelene Owen

Does not disappoint
I fell in love with the 2015 vintage of this wine so thought I would try the 2016. While not quite as smooth, it does not disappoint. This wine is my absolute favourite at the moment!Ez

Can highly recommend this wine. It has a beautiful smooth taste which would compliment the lightest to the more comforting winter meals. Actually, I think it would compliment any meal, anytime.Lou
