Vintage 2024

Brick red with crimson hues. The Richland Shiraz is a warm, rich approachable wine. Aromas of ripe berry fruit and smoky oak give way to a medium weight wine with a well-rounded mid palate. Long soft oak tannins support varietal fruit and spicy black pepper flavours. Excellent to drink now or will gain added complexity with short term cellaring.

Made by the famous Bill Calabria AM of Calabria Family Wines. Bill was awarded the Order of Australia in 2015 for services to the Australian wine industry.

    A bit soft for my liking but it's fine for a mid-week glass or two to accompany dinner.

    Richland Shiraz 2017 – $10 at Our Cellar. This is a decent Shiraz with good varietal definition, plenty of red fruit and depth of flavour, it’s not Grange but you’d be hard pushed to do much better at this price. 91 points. BUY. Kim Brebach 'Best Wines Under $20'

    I think this is one of the best value wines in Australia. It's soft, full of flavour actually a little bit too drinkable.
