It looks like winemaker Larry Cherubino has unlocked the tricks Wolf Blass and John Glaetzer perfected in their early years. His reds are soft and seductive yet don’t lack flavour or substance. The fruit is rich and ripe, providing good drinking when they’re young, yet their pitch-perfect balance ensures they’ll improve over time. This Shiraz is a great example of Larry’s style. A beguiling rich red with years ahead of it. 94+ points. Serious Bargain.
