A deep, dark and rich crimsony red. Has aromas of sweet, vibrant red fruits and generous, dark brooding plum fruit characters, with just a hint of pepperiness and rich beetroot earthiness. Very well flavoured as expected from Frankland fruit; it has loads of rich and vibrant red fruit characters along with hints of crushed violets. The intense plum fruit flavours are well integrated and beautifully balanced by the powdery tannins which give great structure to the wine. Its fine acidity contributes to its great length of flavour and will ensure this Shiraz continues to drink well over many years to come.
