Vintage 2020
Expert Reviews:
92 Points Layered and textured, there is plenty to admire and adore. Part of the Samuel's Collection, this range represents great drinking. This Roussanne is Yalumba's entry-level and it's a fab alternative to Chardonnay. Pie apple, honeyed tones and fine cinnamon spices get things underway. Yellow fleshed stone fruit is voluminous with white field flowers having greater presence the longer it sits in the glass. Honey ginger biscuits feature on close with the finish just humming with soft spices. Expand your horizons and get amongst this. Drink to five years+ Q Wine, 27 Jun 2022.
"A fresh and attractively textural white." 91 Points This has attractive peach, nectarine and sweet-pastry notes. Rich, phenolic texture and a smooth, creamy peach and nectarine finish. A fresh and attractively textural white. Drink now. Screw cap. Nick Stock, James Suckling.com, 06 Oct 2021.
90 Points Roussanne from the Eden Valley. Part of Yalumba’s “Samuel Collection”. This is in an attractive drinking place right now. It has texture and body and good delivery of fruit. In flavour terms it’s all apples and stone fruits with florals and spice. It feels both lively and generous. No problems here; it’s good. The Wine Front, 22 Jun 2022.
