Barbera was the variety that established Margan as 'pioneers of alternative varieties', and with great care they handpick the grapes at optimal ripeness from an original Italian clone on their Ceres Hill vineyard. The wine displays aromas of rhubarb and spice, on the palate, a savory spice with bright red fruits and crunchy acidity that defines the wine. Pair with lamb or hard cheeses.
