This single-vineyard Verdejo from Central Spain is bright and pale straw in colour. It has an intense nose with notes of fresh grass, lime and white pepper paired with a crisp but juicy palate with flavours of grapefruit and balanced acidity. Enjoy as an aperitif or with grilled fish and seafood.
Mesta wines are named after 'The Mesta' - a powerful alliance of shepherds in medieval Castile, who controlled the traditional rights-of-way for migrating sheep. Their vineyards are nestled deep in the land of The Mesta, and are still passed over by flocks on their annual migration.
