Nericon Durif shows a dense colour with vibrant purple hues. Offering a complex and deeply layered structure of cassis, blueberries, anise and pepper spice. The rich tannins evolve onto the palate providing a long, lively finish accompanied by vanillan oak and luscious floral aromas.

Dr Ken Dobler. Inky crimson purple colour. Richly fragrant nose with aromas of stewed fruit, plum jam and spice. The palate is intensely powerful with big up font fruit characters having an attractive perfumed quality and a long tannic finish. Wonderfully fresh and effusive, a joy to drink.

Brent Marris. Ripe round berry and leather notes on the nose and palate. Rich sweet oak with lovely earthy characters coming through on the palate. Hints of liquorish and chocolate come through to the finish. Big round sweet fruit on mid palate is more evident with the steak dish.

Ying Tan. Deep dark red. Crushed red berries, slightly herbal plummy nose. Full, tannic, herbal red fruit, simple, but fairly food mid-palate smoky herbal concentration. Dry oaky finish. Long. Sirloin leaves tannins still evident, but emphasizes depth of fruitiness. Sue Bastian Very, very dark purple. Intense, fresh mixed dark berries and hints of liquorice. Complex nose. Bright firm acid, mulberries, spicy, slightly toasty oak. More fuller bodied style. Good length lots of tannin.
