Pikes Luccio Sangiovese is a bright ruby red. Immediately inviting aromas with ripe cherries, crushed florals, perfume and red confectionary. With decanting this wine shows rustic notes of spice and earth. Medium-bodied, with a medley of fresh red fruits up front. Cherries and raspberries on centre stage. The acid line is taught and lively, reminiscent of pomegranate and cranberry. Finishing with great length and balance.
