Tasting notes. Appearance: Deep ruby with a vibrant crimson rim — the inviting, classic colour of a well-crafted Australian Cabernet Merlot blend from the Hunter Valley. Aroma: Inviting and generous — ripe blackberry, plum, and dark cherry lead with subtle hints of cedar and soft spice. Approachable, expressive, and immediately appealing. Palate: Generous ripe berry fruit leads the palate with a nicely rounded, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Soft tannins and a smooth finish make this an approachable, crowd-pleasing red that is equally rewarding by the glass or the dozen.
