Appearance: Light pale straw with a tinge of citrus — the fresh, inviting colour of a contemporary Australian Sauvignon Blanc, with the clarity and brightness that Rothbury Estate’s modern winemaking approach delivers. Aroma: Wonderfully fragrant — snow peas, guava, and a little passionfruit create an inviting, expressive bouquet that is fresh, aromatic, and immediately appealing. The hallmark of a well-crafted, fruit-forward Sauvignon Blanc. Palate: Medium-bodied and refreshing — crisp citrus flavours carry through the palate with an extra degree of complexity from oak maturation, delivering freshness and length in equal measure. Clean, balanced, and effortlessly drinkable.
Rothbury Estate was established in 1968 by the late, great Len Evans, one of the true entrepreneurs of the Australian wine industry.
