Vintage 2022

Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay is selected from the deep hillside red/brown terra rossa/limestone soils of the Scarborough Estate property. 

The wine is then fermented and matured on lees for 12 months in both new and aged French oak which gives it its characteristic melon and butterscotch characters on the nose and a full, round and rich palate. This is consistently good Hunter Valley Chardonnay and terrific value.

    I have been ordering this wine for three years plus and recommended it to my friends If you like a nice buttery, oak chardonnay then choose this one.

    A Chardonnay that is rich and mouth filling with creamy, buttery flavours. Wonderful Malolactic fermentation, this Hunter Valley Chardonnay is one for 'old-school' lovers.

    This is my favourite chardonnay. Woody, full bodied, aromatic and delicious. I live in sleepy hollow (aka Adelaide, SA) the centre of the wine universe but yet to find a chardonnay to compete with this one.
