Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay is selected from the deep hillside red/brown terra rossa/limestone soils of the Scarborough Estate property.
The wine is then fermented and matured on lees for 12 months in both new and aged French oak which gives it its characteristic melon and butterscotch characters on the nose and a full, round and rich palate. This is consistently good Hunter Valley Chardonnay and terrific value.
We have enjoyed Yellow Label Scarborough for many years now and find it very difficult to beat.
Equally we find the"Our Cellar" price for this wine very difficult to beat.
So it really is a winner.Bryan Madeley

OLD STYLE CHARDONNAY
After hunting around for something reminiscent of the big Chardys of the 80's and being consistently disappointed with the new style insipid Chardonnays I can safely say that Scarborough Yellow Label meets the mark with respect to a lovely woody buttery drop - love it!Rowina Kelly

Always a favourite
Despite trying many chardonnays I always go back to Scarborough. It is a wonderful wine with or without food. Lots of beautifully balanced oak. Great buy at the recent price.Debra Grogan

Very nice Chardonnay for the price.
I find this wine very deep with a distinct oak taste. However I also think it has a slight citrus aftertaste. Enjoyable drinking now, but will try to put aside a few bottles for drinking in a few years time.Sharon Matthews
