Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay is selected from the deep hillside red/brown terra rossa/limestone soils of the Scarborough Estate property.
The wine is then fermented and matured on lees for 12 months in both new and aged French oak which gives it its characteristic melon and butterscotch characters on the nose and a full, round and rich palate. This is consistently good Hunter Valley Chardonnay and terrific value.
Excellent wine aand was just what we were looking forRobyn CrossDavid Jay

Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay 2015 – $20 at Our Cellar. Serious chardy, fermented on lees, malolactic fermentation and partial new oak storage all add up to a chardie with a lot going for it. Not as big and buttery as it was once, but it makes up for that with layers of flavour and complexity. Will improve for 5 years. 95 points. BUY. Kim Brebach. 'Best Wines Under $20'Kim Brebach

One of the best chardys at a very reasonable price
The Scarborough yellow label chardonnay is consistently very good. I like chardonnays that are aged in oak. You can't beat the Our Cellar priceJan

STILL ONE OF THE BEST
We have enjoyed Yellow Label Scarborough for many years now and find it very difficult to beat.
Equally we find the"Our Cellar" price for this wine very difficult to beat.
So it really is a winner.Bryan Madeley

OLD STYLE CHARDONNAY
After hunting around for something reminiscent of the big Chardys of the 80's and being consistently disappointed with the new style insipid Chardonnays I can safely say that Scarborough Yellow Label meets the mark with respect to a lovely woody buttery drop - love it!Rowina Kelly
