Vintage 2022

Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay is selected from the deep hillside red/brown terra rossa/limestone soils of the Scarborough Estate property. 

The wine is then fermented and matured on lees for 12 months in both new and aged French oak which gives it its characteristic melon and butterscotch characters on the nose and a full, round and rich palate. This is consistently good Hunter Valley Chardonnay and terrific value.

    Very nice Chardonnay for the price.

    I find this wine very deep with a distinct oak taste. However I also think it has a slight citrus aftertaste. Enjoyable drinking now, but will try to put aside a few bottles for drinking in a few years time.

    My favourite chardonnay. Oak flavours and a full taste. Amazing value for this type of wine.
